The emergence of new threats to the economic security of Russia

The article analyzes the reasons for the emergence of new threats to the economic security of Russia. According to the author, economically developed countries, providing a high level of own economic security, can contribute to threats to the countries with lower level of economic development, including Russia. This creates a new economic inequality. Its characteristic features are connected with development and introduction of innovations, improvement of human capital and extension the sphere of service. On the basis of the analysis the list of the most important threats to economic security of our country related to the activities of developed countries is updated. In this regard, the directions of assessment of economic security of the Russian economy are indicated. They include: the level of economic development, the rate of economic growth, the index of labor productivity and the share of products of hightech and knowledge-intensive industries in Gross National Product. Considering the lasting action of sectoral sanctions, the disparities in the development of the Russian economy require the implementation of new structural policy.
