Renewal of Juniperus communis L. in the South Urals and Cis-Urals: age structure of cenopopulations

Бесплатный доступ

Cenopopulations of Juniperus communis L. in Bashkir and Udmurtian Cis-Ural region differ by age structure from ones growing in the mountains of the South Urals. Cis-Ural populations are determined as mature, incomplete and reducing while South-Ural ones - rising and mature, complete. Disturbed age structure indicates the necessity of population preservation and taking measures of promotion to natural regeneration.
