Age dynamics of bioelectrical activity of brain in teenagers

The work is devoted to a vital topic - the study of the dynamics of bioelectrical activity of the cerebral cortex in the age aspect in view of the habitat of children. The features of brain activity in adolescents living in the city of Omsk (Siberia) are observed. 70 teenagers were surveyed (34 girls and 36 boys), 12-15 years old, who underwent electroenceph-alographic tests. It was found that adolescents are characterized by age-related changes of bioelectrical activity of the brain. In the organization of bioelectrical activity of the brain of children registered with the age the theta and delta ranges activity reduction is registered, as well as increasing alpha rhythm power and degree of activation of the EEG response to a relative increase in the representation of the potentials in the beta range.
