Age changes of the mineral density of skeletal bones

The data of the age norm in practically health subjects of the Ural region had been collecting for 28 years for the purpose of controlling the mineral density (MD) condition in patients with osteoporosis and that of taking the preventive measures. MD was measured using a two-energy roentgen bone densitometer. The reference tables of the mineral density of the skeletal bones of human beings at the age of 21-80 years were scheduled.
