Return of the archiereus and philosopher

The aim of this review is to draw attention of experts and the intellectual public to amonograph of A. P. Solovyov dedicated to life and work of Russian spiritual and aca-demic philosopher and church leader Archbishop Nicanor (Brovkovich). The authorreconstructs the philosophical system of the Archbishop Nikanor and its ideologicaland philosophical context. The author of the monograph was able to show the impactof philosophy on the representatives of the archbishop Nikanor “secular” religiousphilosophy of the XIX century.
