Pests and deseases of the garden roses species of the Nikitsky botanical garden's collection

The results of pests' and decease instigators' species composition study for garden roses are presented. The character and the degree of a decease damage for the Nikitsky Botanical Gardens species rose collection of the different garden groups is described. Five species of phytophagans, which belong to four orders, and three fungi deceases agents have been discovered. The most effective ways to defend garden roses from pests and deceases in the conditions of the Southern Coast of the Crimea have been tested. A range of roses, resistant to three types of fungal diseases, has been revealed.
