Time in language and thought

Бесплатный доступ

The paper regards theories devoted to time concepts. Some of them consider time unreal. But the concept of time is real: we have the impression of the flow of time, we are born and die, our lives consist of a sequence of events to which we can assign temporal location. The analysis of language can help answer the question as to whether this concept is primitive or rather founded on some more basic component or components of thought.
