Universal suffrage as a bourgeois democratic value: modern era demanding changes

The paper puts forward and substantiates the idea that such a fundamental bourgeois democratic values as universal suffrage is undergoing a major transformation due to the changes taking place in the social and government development of the modern civilization. Accordingly, the conception of bourgeois states formed more than two hundred years ago as a result of the bourgeois revolutions, needs to be clarified.
