This article is devoted to the study of the second home as a specific phenomenon in the tourism industry in the Czech Republic. The article examines the history of the development of the phenomenon of the second home, as well as the role in the Czech tourism industry. Identified popular places to create a second home in the Czech Republic. Significant factors that gave the main impetus to the first period of development of the second home in tourism were identified.
