V.V. Shulgin about an entity and the content of white movement

The author analyzes V.V. Shulgin's views on an entity and the content of White movement in Russia. There is no uniform understanding of this phenomenon of the Russian counterrevolution in the modern historiography. V.V. Shulgin developed the original concept of white movement. He opened the reasons of the beginning of white fight; reflected step-by-step ideological, political, spiritual and moral evolution of White movement; analyzed the reasons of its defeat. The analysis of views of V.V. Shulgin as direct participant of the Russian revolution and counterrevolution, will give the chance for the better understanding an entity of these events and for learning political lessons.
