Choosing diameters of branches of dead-end water supply system

The purpose of this article is to develop a method for calculating the ratio of pipe diameters in the branches of a water pipeline, in which a given distribution of water flow rates along the branches will be performed, taking into account the area of hydraulic resistance and the difference in free pressure among consumers. Graphical dependences characterizing the effect of the ratio of diameters, absolute roughness, and level difference on the calculation results are obtained. A contour graph is constructed to determine the ratio of diameters.
