Choice of criteria to place tolerance on technological process input parameters

The article summarizes the results of the published studies and considers further development of methods for calculating the optimum tolerances on the assumption that the tolerances on output detail accuracy parameters are known. The task to determine optimal tolerance on input process parameters to ensure the required processing accuracy by the specified criteria has been set. The optimization criteria are economic, technical and economic and other parameters of the technological process. The authors give a geometric description of input process parameter tolerance range where the required accuracy is provided.
