The choice of the optimal structure for storage of goods in modern warehouse

The article describes the main systems of material assets placement used in modern practice of warehouse storage. The structure of storage of goods in the warehouse has a direct impact on the efficiency of the warehouse, the quality and speed of warehouse operations. The rationally chosen system of storage of goods allows to reduce the probability of inaccurate order picking, minimizes the impact of the human factor and significantly increases the efficiency of warehouse personnel. When choosing the structure of storage of goods should take into account the features of stored material values, goals and objectives of warehouse activities and logistics strategies of the enterprise as a whole.
