Emissions of acid-forming contaminating substances in the arctic atmosphere during the implementation of oil-and-gas projects by PJSC "Lukoil"

This paper is being studied the activities of the oil company PJSC LUKOIL from the point of view of its influence on the atmosphere of the Arctic region (AR). The analysis of the data of environmental reports on the amount of emissions of acid-forming pollutants for the years 2011-2017 is presented. This company has its facilities in the AR and openly expresses interest in the development of the Arctic. shelf. According to the author, it was necessary to study the dynamics of emissions of acid-forming pollutants into the atmosphere during the implementation of oil and gas projects, and to draw a conclusion on the implementation of environmental policies for the efficient and safe development of the AR.
