The article is devoted to the treatment of sugar beet pulp, as a by-product of sugar production. Sugar beet pulp is an excellent source of plant cellulose. Cellulose was isolated by acid-base extraction. The efficiency cellulose isolation was investigated using the method of IR-spectroscopy.
