Revealing of the biomorphological parameters connected to productivity and quality of the potato tubers in conditions of the Samara region

Biomorphological parameters correlating with high productivity and quality of production were studied by evaluating of potato varieties of various groups of ripeness by using the method of cluster analysis and the method of principal components. Groups of closely connected attributes which at selection of parental pairs can be expressed as one attribute are revealed. Three components having the most essential influence on the variability of parameters under study were found out. It was shown that similar results are received both with application of the cluster analysis, and at use of a principal component analysis.
