Identification of the facts of involvement of minors in begging

The article analyzes the features of the activity of the internal Affairs bodies to identify the facts of involvement of minors in begging. The article highlights the problematic aspects that affect the effectiveness of preventive action: the latency of these criminal acts, the specifics of conducting and documenting pre-investigation checks, the shortcomings of legislative regulation, the lack of proper interaction between the involved subjects. The analysis of modern law enforcement practice has allowed us to assert that the identification of the facts of involvement of minors in begging is based on 1) the study of the operational situation in the served territory, 2) interaction between departments, services of internal Affairs bodies and enterprises, institutions and organizations, 3) individual work with minors. The author believes that the main and most effective method of obtaining information from a minor of official interest is the survey method. Recommendations for improvement of this direction of activity of internal Affairs bodies are offered.
