For successful functioning in the market, enterprises need to be profitable and efficient, but the cyclical development of the economy in market conditions is such that crises are inevitable, they recur. Identifying the reserves for increasing the profit of an agricultural enterprise is an urgent task that they solve every day. Reserves are identified separately for each type of marketable product. A modern enterprise has a fairly wide list of sources and reserves for increasing profits, the effectiveness of which is determined by the used management tools and managers’ understanding of the goals and objectives of the enterprise, as well as by the presence of institutional constraints. In this article, a factorial and marginal analysis of the profit from milk production is carried out, which revealed the need to reduce the cost by reducing the labor intensity of production. The development of innovative technology «precise milking» is proposed, which made it possible to reduce labor intensity, which increased profits and profitability. Reducing labor costs for milk production will increase the profit of an agricultural enterprise and will have a beneficial effect on the entire financial and economic activities of the enterprise.
