The paper discusses the mechanisms of monitoring during the study of extracurricular university environment to identify the place (the role or significance) of students’ metasubject competences. The authors developed a diagnostic complex aimed at identifying of the formedness of metasubject competences and the degree of extracurricular activities’ impact on the process of their formation.
