Views on the sentence (or considerations concerning utterance)

This article presents an attempt to prove that the notion of sentence despite its complexity and ambiguity is not undefinable. The sentence is considered as a linguistic unit with the dominant feature of binomiality conditioned by the presence of grammatical predicativeness. Special attention is paid to gnoseological and ontological aspects of the sentence as well as the problem of differentiation between the sentence and the utterance.
