Capillary blood flow in tibial regenerated bone was registered with an ultrasound sensor of high frequency (20 MHz) in 13 patients with closed fractures of leg bones during treatment. Skin blood flow was blocked up by applying external pressure. It was found that circulation rate 2,5-fold increased in the first two weeks, and was normalized within two subsequent months of treatment.
