High- and medium-technological production in the economy of the Krasnoyarsk region: approaches to isolating, factors of development

The article considers the existing approaches to the allocation of high-and medium-tech industries, the criteria that are based on them. Different approaches are used in the economic systems of different countries, as a result, different methods of allocating high - and medium-tech industries are poorly comparable. And as a result, the use of any of them must be justified. The approach used in identifying high-and medium-tech industries determines a set of factors that affect the development of these industries. The article identifies two groups of factors: first, factors that determine the current state of high-tech production in the region, and second, factors that determine the opportunities for the development of high-tech production in this region in the future (with the allocation of stimulating factors, with the understanding that there are factors that inhibit this process).
