The higher authorities and management in the first quarter of the XVIII century

This article gives a description of the highest authorities that operated in the first quarter of the 18th century. During the period of absolutism much attention was paid to strengthening and strengthening the state apparatus. Peter I made a number of transformations, as a result of which a ramified, strictly centralized, bureaucratic state apparatus was formed.
