G.A. Ilizarov's speeches at the meetings of the sverdlovsk society of traumatologists-and-orthopaedists: documentary materials

The documentary materials of the two meetings of the Sverdlovsk Society of traumatologists-and-orthopaedists (No. 13 of December 10, 1952, and No. 14 of December 17, 1952), at which G.A. Ilizarov's report has been heard and discussed, are presented. His first making a report for traumatologists-orthopaedists was the beginning of compression osteosynthesis theoretical substantiation with the author's fixator use, which was subsequently performed in the Sverdlovsk Scientific Research Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedics.
