The article is devoted to the study of the impact of reforms and economic crises on the economy of Singapore. In particular, various aspects of modernization of the economy in the country are described. The necessity of working with developing economies is substantiated, the need for the creation and development of the Asian economic community, as well as the increase in the volume of trade and investment, and the improvement of financial instruments, are emphasized.
