Challenges for space medicine in human development of the moon: risks, adaptation, health, workability

The paper considers the main medical and biological problems that require critical decisions while preparing for manned Moon missions. The authors submit the results of their own research on the physiological effects of simulated lunar gravity, microgravity, development of pathological processes and pharmacokinetics under simulated zero gravity, effect of cosmic radiation on DNA of lyophilized human lymphocytes and mice bone marrow cells.
