The interaction of information and orthodox culture as a way of gaining Russian national and cultural identity towards a knowledge society

This article discusses traditional and postmodern approaches to addressing the individual and the question of preserving the spiritual and moral values in the information revolution. We consider the problem of national and cultural identity in the transition to a knowledge society. Particular attention is paid to the religious life of Informatization of the Russian society, with priority given to Orthodoxy as one of the distinct properties of the Russian national and cultural identity.
