Interaction between myth and law: vistas of succession

The author attempts to make a comprehensive analysis of such complicated social phenomenon as law through actualization of its close, in a sense, genetic relationship with myth as one of the first Weltanschauung forms successfully employed by the humanity to date. The author argues that both myth and law are methods to construct models of social reality. Specific features of these existence modeling methods are analyzed. According to the author, when reserves of spiritual assimilation and design of the existence are complementary rather than contradictory to each other, they gain strength of a powerful and effective factor contributing to the development of civilized social relations.
