Interaction of parent and child in relationship with personality traits

The aauthors analyze the features of parent-child interaction in connection with the presence in the personality of a parent the traits that make up the Dark Triad. As the results of studies on the connection between the traits of the Dark Triad and the parameters of child-parent relations are insignificant in their number, the question remains largely open. The study involved adolescents from 12 to 17 years old. The total number of participants is 73. Significant differences in the parameters of parent-child relationships among parents with different personality traits, as well as the peculiarities of the relationship between the presence of negative personality traits in a parent and personality traits of a teenager, were identified and analyzed.
