Interaction of verse and prose discourses in the works by Denis Osokin

The present article deals with Denis Osokin’s works that manifest one of the leading trends of contemporary literature - interaction of prose and poetic forms. Taking into consideration syncretic nature of D. Osokin’s prose, the author studies visual features of his texts: their special location on the page, use of various graphic tools. In his works the writer uses a set of techniques correlated with poetic technique and tradition: vertical position of the text, strophic paragraphs settlement, existence of metrized fragments, which allows to create a prose text with a special rhythmic organization. The author draws a conclusion that prosaic and poetic forms have equal artistic possibilities for D. Osokin.
