Interactions of regional channels and local authorities: economic and legal aspects

The article deals with topical issues of interaction of regional channels and local authorities. The author analyzes the typical formats of interaction between the authorities and television and makes a conclusion about necessity of new economic mechanisms in the activities of television channels and legal protection of the media from the pressure of regional power elites.
