The article is dedicated to relations of state and religious institutions of Russian Orthodox Church (ROC) in the Soviet Union in 1960-1962 on the example of Orenburg diocese. The Marxist-Leninist ideology in this period was determined by policy documents and actively opposed to religious belief.
