Relations between Russia and the Arab world: history of development and current state

The article deals with the relations between Russia and the Arab world. Particular attention is paid to the mutual benefit of strong and stable relations with countries of the Middle East and North Africa, in particular, Saudi Arabia and Algeria. Based on the analysis of the current relations of Russia with the Middle East and Maghreb, the author concludes that the highest priorities of the Middle East policy of the Russian Federation is intensification of bilateral, economic and trade relations with the Arab countries of the Persian Gulf, development of multilateral relations with Israel
