Correlation of color preferences and self-assessment of the individual

The results of theoretical and empirical research of possible correlations between personal characteristics and color preferences are presented, specifically, an attempt to reveal empirically how the level of individual self-assessment and a stable choice of a particular color of the spectrum (red, yellow, green or blue) are related is made. The results of a pilot study demonstrating that those who prefer red to blue have a significantly higher level of self-assessment are provided.
