The article presents the results of an analysis of the number of blood group alleles in eight breeds of cattle bred in Russia (Black and White Holstein, Ayrshire, Black and White, Simmental, Swiss, Red and White Holstein, Jersey and Kholmogory - 56, 16, 39, 7, 22, 8, 5 and 8 heads, respectively) It was established that the largest number of common alleles was in the Black-and-White and Schwyz breeds - 41, Black-and-White and Black-and-White Holstein - 36, in the Kholmogory and Holstein breeds black and white color - 35. The greatest similarity was found between Kholmogory and Holstein black and white color - 91.3%, between Black and White and Holstein breed of black and white color - 90.2%, between Holsteins of different colors - 90 .1%, Ayrshire and Holstein red-and-white - 88.2%. Negative correlations (r) were obtained between similarity at loci EAA, EAS, EAZ and overall similarity: -0.241, -0.137 and -0.210, respectively (number of comparisons, n=28). A positive relationship was established between the number of identical alleles in the compared breeds and their immunogenetic similarity (r=+646).
