The relationship between the economic interests of the state and transnational corporations

This article analyzes the relationship and contradictions between economic interests of transnational corporations and the state. Specific block of the contradictions are due to differences between the states, in which transnational corporations are based, and the states, that provide a source of factors of production. The author concludes that in the period of globalization, with its requirements for economic security, the settlement of the contradictions requires the strengthening of the role of state regulation.
