Combinations of various types of infiltrating component in infiltrating ductal breast (not otherwise specified NOS) carcinomas were studied. Combination of various types of infiltrating component had appeared to relate neither to tumor size nor to lymphogenous and hematogenous metastases. Definite relation to progression of infiltrating ductal NOS breast carcinoma was observed only with respect to the number of types of infiltrating component structures: the more the number of types, the greater the tumor extent. The mechanism and importance of the observed relationship were discussed.
