Interrelation of the polinarity of worldview processes and the temporality of modern society

The article studies the rapid changes in social processes as the ontological foundation for the changes of the worldview paradigms of modern era, among which the Christian worldview program is highlighted as a constant of European social values and the basis for the identity of European civilization. The authors study and define the categories “world outlook”, “value”, “worldview program”. The authors consider the category “worldview program” as a new philosophical category, and the man as a bearer of various types of worldview programs. Christian worldviews are represented historically and logically as the basis of European culture. During the formation of civilization (antiquity, the Middle Ages) and modern European culture consideration of these fundamentals is crucially important, since mankind is experiencing a crisis of its values and philosophical grounds, as well as the question whether to continue existing or not. Christian worldview attitudes which are the foundations of European culture are subject both to criticism and the worldview program of denial and obstruction. Such types of activities relate to the use of values of the worldview program attitudes of European culture, required by the matrix of European life by means of substitution of traditional European social values into the values which are completely different from the Christian worldview, as well as the European life values in general. These meanings formed the matrix of European culture as a special kind of civilization, which became the basis for the lifefeeling of the European man not only of the Middle Ages but also of all consecutive centuries of the history of Europe up to the present time.
