The relevance of the study is substantiated by the widespread influence of the viral epidemic on the behavior of the economically active population and the resulting economic and social uncertainty in the labor market. The transformation of attitudes towards economic objects taking place at the level of individual and group economic consciousness entails changes in the forms of real and planned behavior of employed and unemployed on the labor market in Russia and in the world. In this connection, forecasting and timely state regulation of behavior in the labor market of various socio-demographic groups of employed and unemployed based on an assessment of the dynamics of psychoemotional states during an epidemic is of particular importance. The results of the study can serve as a theoretical and methodological basis for substantiating the methodology for assessing the impact of global social and economic risks on the welfare of employees.
