The main task of the article is to reveal the interrelation between language development and the historical evolution of its native speakers. The authors give the examples from Indo-European vocabulary of the modern Russian language and reconstruct the way of life of Indo-European tribes (their household, trade and religion). The authors analyzed the examples of Indo-European vocabulary starting with the letter “M”.
