The paper analyzes the factors of agricultural competitiveness based on the global competitiveness index. The primary method is correlation analysis, the results of the study identify the critical relationships between indicators of agriculture and development. The area of land allocated for agricultural crops is poorly correlated with other variables. However, a larger agrarian workforce has a strong negative correlation with indicators such as food security, digital competitiveness, innovation and human development, indicating a lower level of development. Higher grain yields positively correlate with these indicators. In addition, food security, digital competitiveness, innovation and human development are closely interrelated, which indicates that more developed and digitally competitive countries tend to have higher innovation potential and a higher level of human development.
Competitiveness, agriculture, digital competitiveness index, global competitiveness index
