Russia's view on New Silk Route strategy

Describes the features of the implementation of the project of the New Silk Road “One Belt - One Road”, which is extremely important and vital for China, as it can give not only a solution on the regulation of internal imbalance, in which the western and northern parts of the country develop much slower than the eastern provinces and southern parts, but also the opportunity to create new transport, energy and trade corridors between the countries of Central Asia and Europe, which means that there is an option for closer cooperation relations and rapprochement of the countries of the Eurasian region. It is noted that today the Russian Federation is actively involved in this project, including the creation of the Silk Road transport infrastructure, which will allow it to strengthen its position in the East.
