Opinions of Muscow women on preschool education of children

The article deals with one of the basic elements of the education system- preschool education. It examines the necessity of preschool education, joining kindergartens by children of different age, different types of preschool education, period of studying, parents prefers. The article is based on the results of a survey of mothers with preschool children, which was provided in June 2016 in the city of Moscow. Moscow families consider maintenance of preschool children socialization and prefer state kindergarten. Majority of families consider the necessity of preschool education independently with their possibilities to avoid it. Parents choose preschool education for more senior children as a compromise between socialization and its danger. Parents prefer part time joining children into preschool education groups, because it is positive for mothers employment. However, lack of full time groups for small children is a big problem for unemployed mothers and most of all for singles. Mothers opinions is influenced by employment, families composition, live standards of households, age of children.
