In the article, on the basis of memoirs of famous historical personalities - military leaders of the late XIX-early XX centuries, an analysis of their vision of the events taking place was carried out. An attempt has been made to determine the causes of a change in attitudes toward war within the framework of events occurring in our days. A relative forecast is presented for what you need to be prepared for in the future.
