The article is based upon the published and archival documents and devoted to the personality of one of the brightest and most talented military leaders of the 1930s years, Ieronim Uborevich. At the times of Civil war he had gained a number of brilliant victories over the enemies of the Soviet power, and in 1937 he had been executed among the other Red Army commanders as a result of Stalin's arbitrariness.
