Hemoblastosis incidence in population of Krasnoyarsk region

Incidence of hematology malignancies in population of Krasnoyarsk region during the period 1990–2001 was studied. Hematology malignancies were the 4-th common malignancy among male and the 10-th common malignancy among female cancer patients. The most common nosologic form was non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (NHL) among males and lympholeukosis (LL) among females. Acute hematology malignancies were observed 5,6–8,2-fold more frequently in Krasnoyarsk region than on the average in the regio nof Siberia and the Russian Far East. NHL was the most common malignancy in children aged less than 15 years and acute forms occurred 10-fold more frequently than chronic ones. Hematology malignancies were observed 1,5-fold more frequently in males thanin females, showing a tendency to increase in older age group patients. The mean age was 47,2 for males with hematology maligna nciesand 50,4 for females
