Conditions associated with iodine deficiency can be enhanced by exposure of antropotechnogenic factors. A significant increase in the prevalence of thyroid gland diffuse of I and II degree and higher incidence rates in pregnant women living in the region with iodine deficiency, -particularly in ecologically unfavorable areas of the city is revealed.
