The article is devoted to acquaintance with the essence of portfolio investment, its advantages and proper use. In this paper, the urgency of forming a private investment portfolio is justified. The author focuses on how to form a portfolio with minimal risk with acceptable profitability. A strategy for the gradual formation of a source of passive income in the future is presented.
