The tasks of forensics in the light of the present day

The ongoing global changes in many spheres of social life of any country, including Russia, have affected many areas of law, science in general and jurisprudence and legal education, legal institutions of higher education in particular. These changes demanded from forensic scientists to take into account these changes and, especially in terms of better targeting and definition of areas of research, the results of which would have solved the most significant and relevant tasks that forensics face today. In particular, the task is not only to update and improve forensic inventory of technical means, tactical and methodological techniques, information technology means of investigation and other forensic activities (including experts), but also show the possibility of their successful use not only in criminal proceedings but also in other types of proceedings and enforcement. However, the results of these studies should support training of legal personnel, especially of forensic profile. Research of the higher educational institutions scientists should contribute to the development of forensics not only as a science, its theoretical and methodological arsenal, but also improvement of forensics as an academic discipline. The support of specialist of forensic profile at the modern requirement level is set as the main task.
