The RSDLP foreign delegation and its role in the European social-democratic movement in the 1930-ies

The article considers the little-studied aspect of the Russian Social Democrats’ [Mensheviks] activity in emigration, especially, the RSDLP Foreign Delegation governing body (1922-1951). Recognizing “the transitional nature of the era” and participating in the discussion of the international socialist movement, the Mensheviks last played a public role in the political life of pre-war Europe and development of the “tactical formula” of the common activities organization.
